It's always sad to see the boats put away but it helps when it becomes a group activity followed by lunch! The 2024 paddling season is over and what a season it was - improving technique no matter what the weather, having a photo finish win in our festival, paddling well and competitively at Stratford, Ontario, relaxing at Woody Island, spreading the word about dragon boating on the west coast of the Island, and everything in between! Can't wait for next year! Now it's time for bootcamp, fundraising and socializing.
